The Worship Service
We begin with contemporary praise and worship followed by a time of prayer and testimony. During this time, we give space to the Holy Spirit to empower us to intercede for one another and testify about how God is working in our lives. We end our time seeking to encounter Jesus in the preaching of the Word of God.
The music
We value making His praise glorious by striving for excellence, though we recognize that it’s always our hearts - more than our arts - with which God is chiefly concerned. We hope you enjoy an island and funk infused version of your favorite contemporary worship songs, along with some original and lesser known compositions. For an idea of our typical Sunday morning worship check out our Spotify Playlist called KBC Worship.
The Message
Pastor Brian preaches mostly exegetical sermons that demonstrate the importance of the historical context of the passage. He does this in a way that makes clearer sense of the whole Bible and relates it to our personal and communal journeys of faith in Jesus Christ.
For Your Children
High School and Middle School students participate in our Worship Service.
Elementary children (age 4-5th grade) participate in a portion of our Worship Service and then have an age-related lesson during the sermon.
We have a nursery for infants and young toddlers under the age of 4.
Offering
We encourage those in the assembly to come prepared to honor the Lord with their finances. Online giving can be done through Venmo: @KonaBibleChurch
What should I wear?
